​The presentation page is beautifully illustrated and dated April 28, 1892. While the interior shows the heavy love and wear typical of a family heirloom from this era, the exterior binding remains a spectacular example of 19th-century bookmaking. ​Interior: The interior is in Fair/Poor condition. There is significant separation at the binding/spine. Pages exhibit age-appropriate foxing (brown spotting) and toning. The decorative “Family Portraits” section has severe tears, loose pages, and detachment.
