GRADING: We have collected all sorts of media since the 70’s…We understand grading, and grade conservatively under a single-point incandescent light…Our grading scale is: NM, VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, P (NM = Near Mint, VG = Very Good)…With some distinctions listed here, our NM, VG++ and VG+ grades are similar to those described by Neely and Osborne in their price guides…We rarely use the NM grading and tend not to sell any media below the VG grading unless they are super rare…We tend to grade conservatively and other sellers buy our media and re-list them with higher grades…

COMPACT DISCS: Unless otherwise stated, we do NOT play-grade CD’s..A CD grade is a visual grade of the recorded playing surface…Hairlines if we reference a hairlines, it means it is a light line on the disc that looks like a hair…Hairlines are different to scratches or wear…A hairline is lighter and has limited and less impact on the playing quality, whereas wear or a scratch can cause some level of skips when playing…(If there are any writings of any kind on the CD labels we will mention it)

COVER ART: When we describe the cover artwork condition in this listing, we are describing the inside booklet and the back of cd artwork….The grade given is for front, booklet, and back of CD artwork, irrespective of cut corners, stickers, taped seams, or split seams…These defects, if they exist, will be noted separately…(If we do not mention written marks, cut corners, stickers, taped seams, or split seams, there are none)

CD CASE: All of our compact discs are in fantastic shape and will include either an original case, or a plain case which we provide with the sole purpose of protecting the CD…However, even though the CD may be in excellent like new condition the original cases are notorious for being replaced, or damaged, such as cracks, scratches, smudges, writings, stains, etc…Unless explicitly mentioned in this listing the Case is not considered as part of this compact disc grading or purchase…If you purchase this Compact Disc or CD it is with the clear understanding the case is not included as part of this sale, and if a case is included it is provided on an as/is condition solely as packaging, as a protector for the CD, which may have cracks, wear or scratches…We will state if the case is original…
